As generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technologies and tools become increasingly integral to the global landscape, AI companies are in a race to deliver cutting-edge solutions. This involves developing new products and platforms, establishing centers of excellence, intensifying research and development, offering advanced training, and restructuring executive teams to meet market demands.
Atos Group, a global leader in digital transformation, is embracing this trend through a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The partnership has led to the launch of a global GenAI Innovation Studio.

In a recent news release, Atos introduced its state-of-the-art, 6,000-square-foot GenAI Innovation Studio in Pune, India. The launch event is set to take place from October 15 to 17, 2024, and will involve Atos’ digital, cloud, big data, and security subsidiary, Eviden.
Diane Galbe, Senior Executive VP of Atos Group, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to open this global co-innovation GenAI Studio with AWS. The center will foster close collaboration with our clients, allowing us to create solutions and accelerators that address their unique challenges. By leveraging the power of generative AI, we aim to help our customers harness data and AI for innovation across all areas of their business.”
What Does the GenAI Innovation Studio Offer?
The studio is designed to unlock the potential of GenAI, enabling businesses to innovate faster, enhance customer experiences, and improve productivity. Atos and AWS will collaborate to develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges. The studio also offers envisioning sessions and hands-on proofs-of-value, helping clients accelerate AI adoption.
In addition, the GenAI Innovation Studio will host regular events that promote a culture of learning, including training programs, certifications, hackathons, and AWS DeepRacer competitions. This initiative is part of a five-year Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) between Eviden and AWS.
On the same day as the studio’s launch, Atos announced Philippe Salle’s appointment as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective immediately, with a transition to Chairman and CEO in February 2025. Jean-Pierre Mustier, the current CEO, will remain in his role until the end of January 2025 and continue as a board member.
